Cocktail of the Week:

Whiskey Hot Toddy
1.5 oz bourbon whiskey
1/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup or honey
1 slice lemon
2 cloves
4 oz hot water

Pour a shot of whiskey into a cup and add boiling water to it. Add a spoonful of honey or sugar. Add a half slice of lemon, two cloves and, if available, a cinnamon stick. Let brew for three to five minutes.
Depending on preference, the cloves and cinnamon stick can be removed before drinking, although leaving them in is often said to make a toddy even better for clearing a blocked nose and relieving a head cold.

We may leave stuff out, but we don’t make stuff up!

Love Bug
1.5 parts Dekuyper Pomegranate Liqueur
1 part Absolut Vodka
3 parts Ginger Ale

Mix all in ice shaker. Pour. Drink. Love ya, Baby.

Today’s cocktail of the Week:

Pink Stripper
2 oz vodka
2 oz cranberry juice
4 oz pink lemonade

Pour all ingredients into a shaker. Mix and pour into a highball glass. Crushed ice or a cherry with stem are always welcome. Best served chilled.

I gotta tell ya, those viewers in the live chat are fuuuuuunnnnny.

While we many not completely agree with the Mayor (has he been to the Strip?!), today’s episode of Pub Crawl features David and Alicia’s first visit to the monthly event held in the downtown area of the city. Today’s cocktail of the week:

Old-Fashioned
1 sugar cube
2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
2 orange slices
Maraschino cherry for garnish
sweet or sour

Place sugar cube at bottom of old-fashioned glass. Saturate cube with bitters. Add one orange slice. Muddle. Fill glass with ice. Add bourbon. Stir well. Garnish with orange slice and cherry
