Take it easy on the shrimp from louisiana…..next time u.r In new orleans give me a call and we will head south to venice to harvest some oyster and dredge some shrimp..catch a few reds and load up on a few specs….clean up and head to some of the hidden gems in the city….luv your show and I hope to come see it in July
I honestly felt bad for that as I was saying it. Great Gulf seafood is out there. While there are isolated problem, reputable suppliers distributing to trusted restauranteurs deserve my absolute support, and I’m sorry that in an attempt to take a shot at John I took a cheap shot at an entire region. My friend Rick Moonen was at the forefront of making sure good shrimp are coming out of the gulf. And I will go on the air next week and try to make ammends. (I may have Rick’s bartender on that show, so he can help!) My very sincer apology!
