As many of you have noticed (thanks for the nice comments, by the way), we have made some significant changes to the format of all shows on the Vegas Video Network. This is critical part of an ongoing effort to continuously improve the content delivered by the network in preparation for bigger and better things in the future.
We’re going to take next week (5/28 – 6/1) off from show production to dive deeper into this process. And while there won’t be any new shows next week, you can bet Jacob, Sam and I (along with some very cool volunteers) will be working hard to further improve the entertaining and educational productions brought to your by VVN.
Hey guys, keep up the great work. The new look to the shows are awesome and all the info is appreciated.
Thanks, Shannon. Appreciate the kind words.
What happened to the length of the shows? I have been an active listener from the start but content has really suffered with the shorter shows. Especially Pub Crawl and Living in Las Vegas. Used to love the in depth stories and tales of Las Vegas life. Very disappointing.
Hey, Scott.
Thanks for the feedback. The reason for the format chance is to allow for a broader broadcast audience.
That’s the good news.
The GREAT news? We agree that much of the charm comes from the tangential conversations, which is why, at the host’s direction, we have added an “After the Show” section to LiLV and PC. When we run out of time and feel there was more to the story than could be told, we keep the cameras a-rollin’ after the formal close of the show and keep on keepin’ on. Here’s a few examples:

Like I said, not all shows have this. . .but when a host believes there’s more to be said, we implement “After the Show”.
