Hi Danni, ‘love your shows & liked what you and Dawn were saying about Ebay going back to what made them unique & good to begin with & not trying to be too many things. One of those “things” though was shipping. I appreciate your very valid reasons for free shipping, but it has not worked for me, and it seems a bit disingenuous as it’s built into the price anyway. I like Amazon being Amazon & Ebay being eBay & not trying to be like Amazon. I know Lynn Dralle is a proponent of shipping & I wish more people were especially eBay itself. Thanks! Marie

Hi Marie, thank you for the feedback!
I hear a lot of sellers say that free shipping didn’t work for them, often I find it was not the free shipping that wasn’t working it was things like lack of a niche, lack of marketing, lack of understanding how to truly get the most out of utilizing free shipping.
Free shipping is not unique to Amazon, it’s EVERYWHERE! as a method of making it easy for online shoppers to make decisions quickly and based on knowing the end price quickly.
First let me say, I love Lynn Dralle, she was my mentor when I started in the business nearly two decades ago… unfortunately what I see is she has not evolved to the current trends of eCommerce. I follow her and wish I could get in there and work on her store because while she has good sales, I believe they could be at least double what they are if she would incorporate Free Shipping and International Shipping. I know change from how you’ve always done things is hard especially when it “seems” to be working… but there is so much opportunity to take advantage of it’s important not to stay stuck in what feels like success when there is so much more!
Thanks for watching the show!
Thank you so much for the great reply. It is probably something I was doing wrong. I will give it another try. Really appreciate your time. Marie
