While we celebrate David’s birthday and learn the etymology of the term “Bar Fly”, this week’s Pub Crawl brings us to the Rio Hotel & Casino, where David and Alicia find expensive food, cheap drinks and an amazing view. Then, it’s off to the Artisan Boutique Hotel’s Ultra Lounge where our favorite couple is determined to have a good time among the cool booths and secret nooks.
Today’s Cocktail of the Week:
Chocolate Cake
1 oz Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
1 oz Vodka (preferably vanilla flavored)
Lemon Wedge
Sugar
Old Fashioned Glass
Cocktail Shaker
IcePut liqueur and vodka into a shaker. SHAKE WELL! Rim outside of glass only with sugar. Add ice to glass. Strain mixture over ice. Drink and follow with a bite from the lemon. Scream, “Happy Birthday, David!”
“Last Call” (how not to get thrown out, throw up, knocked out, knocked up, or thrown in jail), teaches you where to eat when you’ve had too much to drink.
A small sampling of the questions asked (and answered) during “Hey Bartender” and the live chat include:
- Do you go to “locals” bars? Is so, where?
- Where’s the cheapest drinks in town?
- Where do you recommend to go for a drink in Town Square?
- Any local’s drink discounts on the Strip?
- I love bars but I don’t smoke. Any advice?
Her name is Rio, she likes her beer pong.
Loved it.
I can totally relate to the kid thing – my wife and I don’t have kids either and I have no idea how to interact with them and couldn’t estimate a kid’s age if you put a gun to my head.
The show’s great. Really fun, lots of laughs.
Happy birthday to David.
Thanks for the kind words, Hunter. Glad you liked the show! Funny thing — I have two grown kids and I still couldn’t guess a kids age to save my life.
