  8. There’s no shame in buying jokes, particularly if it’s material that fits your act perfectly but is just another joke to the comic who wrote it. A lot of comics tag each other’s stuff for free as it is.

  10. I was a big fan of Mollica’s old podcast, Behind the Bricks. When it seemed like Awkward Silence could fill that void, I jumped right in and subscribed on iTunes. I’ve watched every episode.

    I found Awkward Silence through TAI.
    Awkward Silence is far and away the best show that I have watched on the network and the main reason for that is the retarded genius that is B’Mo. While Brandt is good value he could not drive the show, he is very much Awkward Silences Tommy Dutch (That’s for TAI fans only).

  15. Sorry to hear about the loss of Steve Darci. While I only caught that show a couple of times, it was pretty interesting and he seemed like a good guy.

    Scott, Congratulations on surviving the first few months of Awkward Silence. You are doing a good job at producing this show. I am frankly suprised that you have been able to successfully forge a good partnership with BMO who is known for doing things his way or perhaps only in close collaboration with Tony.. The combination of your video production and and willingness to let things go where they need to for this subject manner along with BMOs knowledge of the comedy world combined with hosting skill (or as my friend AceRollollaUK sums it up above – his ‘retarded genious’) results in a very nice product.

    You are a brave soul to engage the strange, varied, often rough-edged ,and loyal community of TAI of which I am one.
